Once a year, the Family and Community Support Services Association of Alberta votes on resolutions — formal asks that the whole association then carries to the Government of Alberta. We want one on disability income this year. This package is everything needed to make that happen in your town: the plain-language guide, the resolution itself, the full argument, and the people to send it to.
The plain-language version. What FCSS is, what a resolution is, why disability income belongs in that room, and what to do in about fifteen minutes. No jargon, short sentences, and the questions people have already asked. Read this one first if you read nothing else.
The resolution itself, on its own, in FCSSAA's required BE IT RESOLVED / RATIONALE format, with a note for the sponsoring council or board and the sources for every figure. This is the file to attach when you write to a councillor. Free to adapt and submit — no attribution required.

Start with your own municipality — your own town's voice carries the most weight. Then work the warm list: councils that have already passed a pause motion or written to the Minister about the disability-income changes. They understand the issue already, which makes them the most likely yes.
